The TruHero Awards & Gala is a fundraising event that recognizes community advocates in the Inland Empire who have contributed to the advancement and well-being of the LGBTQ community.

The TruHero Award is an honor given by the Board of Directors and staff of TruEvolution based on three criteria:

1. The Honoree has made a significant contribution to promoting health equity.

2. The Honoree has a proven track-record of working at the intersections of racial justice.

3. The Honoree has worked to advance the quality of life and human dignity of LGBTQ people.

Our honorees span from advocates and local leadership to members of the community who we serve. We celebrate the individual who continue to improve the lives of LGBTQ people through innovation and research to grassroots-level advocacy that inspires their communities by centering the voices of those who are silenced and unheard.
